Service Desk Team Leader

Responsible for:                 3 Technical Support Analysts

Job summary

It's an exciting time to join Stroud District council and ICT at the moment, the Council has approved the budget to enable essential upgrades to its infrastructure and improvement of its digital offer to its communities, businesses and Council Staff.

About you

We are looking for that exceptional individual who can deliver a technology support service in line with our organisational requirements. Joining us at an exciting time as we roll out several major infrastructure projects, including a desktop refresh, you will work closely with staff at all levels to support and manage the Council’s ICT service desk. Practical experience of supporting a customer base (500+) using Microsoft products operating in a complex environment with many line of business solutions.

You will have experience of managing a service desk function using ITIL service delivery methodology, as well as the ability to provide effective and timely resolutions to a range of routine and complex ICT problems. Ability to drive and have access to a car is required for this role.
