Transformation Project Manager – Adult Social Care

The council is set in a major tourism area with tourist attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse and with the Royal Family on the doorstep, this is a good place to live and work. There are excellent transport connections to London and the West of England, with the new Elizabeth Line opening in Maidenhead soon.

If you have a passion for thinking differently in order to deliver excellent services for residents, we have an exciting opportunity for two fixed term Transformation Project Managers within adult social care.

Under our new Director of Adult Services, we are embarking on an ambitious programme to transform the delivery of adult social care services in the Royal Borough. Our vision is to enable people to live independent and fulfilled lives, focusing on prevention, investing in communities and assets, choice and values.

Ideally with experience in adult and/or children’s services, you will be a key member of the team supporting the programme with responsibility for delivery of specific projects. We are particularly keen to maximise the use of technology and work in partnership with residents, providers and partners to design and deliver effective solutions.

Working across the whole council and partner organisations, particularly Optalis, our local authority trading company delivering adult social care services, you will have highly developed influencing and communication skills. Able to work flexibly, you will be expected to work to deadlines and deliver work that requires attention to detail. Delivering in a collaborative and timely way is essential.

If you wish to discuss this position informally please contact Daniel Brookman, Transformation and Systems Manager, on 01628 796196.
