Scargill School Kitchen Assistant

Havering Catering Services is Essex and London Local Authority Caterers, working in partnership with local schools and academies to provide award winning meals and services.

At the London Borough of Havering Catering Service, we pride ourselves in being an innovative organisation with a strong commitment to the nutritional needs of all Primary and Secondary school children.

We Constantly strive to provide the highest quality of ingredients available, by showing our commitment and understanding of how important local and sustainable sourced food is to the community, which has enabled us to achieve the food for life silver award.

To undertake the preparation, simple cooking and the serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements.

The postholder reports to: Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative;
You will be required to work in different school sites on rare occasions to cover sickness.
Hours of work will be 12.5 hours per week.
