Property & Estates Manager

Are you looking for a new and challenging role?  One in which you will be able to utilise your expertise in all aspects of property asset management?

The Council has a growing commercial and operational property portfolio.  We are seeking a Chartered Surveyor to take responsibility for providing an efficient and effective estates management service to the Council.

To be successful, you will demonstrate suitable technical experience and excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal clients, consultants and a wide range of stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Head of Property & Regeneration and bring lots of relevant skills and experience, be a strong team player and have a positive and flexible attitude to your work.

In return you will benefit from 24 days annual leave (rising to 29 after 5 years' service), subsidised gym membership and car parking, payment of professional fees, entitlement to join the local government pension scheme, and non-contributory life assurance.

The borough is home to the world famous Derby and a number of high quality educational institutes including the University of Creative Arts and North East Surrey College of Technology.  Over half of the borough is open green space with over 18 parks including the historic Nonsuch Park and Epsom Downs.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and committed team and we look forward to receiving your application.

This is a full time position but we will consider alternative options such as flexible working.
