The Referral & Assessment Team have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join their team on a fixed term basis until November 2020. You’ll find your greatness with us as you will play an integral role in providing this essential service to Children, young people and their families.


In this role you will provide a comprehensive administration service for all members of the team in this fast-paced environment where prioritising is essential and the protection of children is our core business.


As Business Support Officer, attention to detail will be one of your key skills. You will be required to provide administrative support for meetings which includes taking and circulating minutes. You will be responsible for running agendas and reports, along with sending out accurate correspondence documents to customers and professionals.


On a daily basis you will be responsible for inputting data onto Mosaic, checking information, keeping accurate records, providing statutory information and statistics as required. It is essential that you have knowledge of the work of the Assessment Team and child protection as a whole. The successful candidate will work as part of the Administration Team within the service and directorate supporting the workload of colleagues as deemed necessary. Further elements of the role involve having strong communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner and being able to effectively signpost if necessary or taking accurate messages.


You may also be required to undertake other duties of a similar level or responsibility from time to time.
