Finance Business Partner (Development and Environment)

We are looking for an accomplished team player who will lead and encourage innovation and new ways of working across finance and promote a close and effective working relationship with one of the main service directorates.


This senior finance role will be a member of our Corporate Finance management team reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Property.


We need someone who is completely committed to understanding the needs of the business and who will advise, support and challenge senior managers within our Development and Environment directorate.


The role will be focussed on developing close working relationships with senior colleagues to strengthen the financial and commercial aspects of contract management, growth and development projects and operations within Development and Environment, and the council as a whole. The successful candidate will ensure that the wider aims and priorities of the whole council are considered effectively in all financial decisions.
