Assistant Support Worker - Hitchin and Stevenage

At Hightown, we`re a housing charity that builds homes and support people. In Hitchin and Stevenage, we provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

We are looking for some great new Assistant Support Workers to join our teams in the area who have the right values, behaviours and attitudes to be the difference.

We will give you all the training and support you need to do the role including a qualification in health and social care.

You`ll be empowering our service users to lead the life they want with the support of a network of staff, family and friends. You might be involved in supporting them in a range of activities including arts and crafts, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips or even taking them on a visit to the local cinema. The role does not provide personal care but you may prompt a service user on their health and wellbeing.
