After School Club Play Worker

Parklands Resource Centre are actively seeking to recruit Play Workers to be responsible for providing school aged children, aged 6 -18 years of age who have special needs with a range of creative, stimulating play activities who attend our after school club between 3.00pm and 6.30m.   

The post holders will require previous experience of working with special needs children, good communication skills and an understanding of child development.  You should also have the ability to keep accurate records, to be able to work in a non-judgmental way and have a commitment to high standards of childcare.  We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and energetic people who enjoy working as part of a team. 

The successful candidates should possess an NVQ level 2/3 qualification in Care/Childcare.

Offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS.
