Our Leaving Care service is one of the Nation’s biggest and supports care experienced young adults in their transition from care to independence.
Our priority is to support and enable care experienced young adults to realise their aspiration and ambition and have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about and able to care for themselves. Champion their voice as Corporate Parents I all that we do.
With the implementation of the statutory duty to support care leavers up to the age of 25 and also to support care leavers who may be at risk homelessness or identified as rough sleeping, using government grant funding we wish to enhance our service capacity with the recruitment of the following posts fixed term posts.
A commitment to a systemic, strength, relationship and solution focused practice model that contextualise the needs of care leavers through a trauma informed / adverse childhood experiences lens is essential.
You will be HCPC registered social worker, bringing to the role a track record of working with children in care or care leavers. A skilled supervisor, having a proven ability to develop individuals and teams, enabling them individually and collective to a make a difference in the outcomes for our care leavers.
