Who you are…

  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
  • NVQ Level 2 qualified or willing to achieve qualification
  • Knowledge of Person Centered Planning, Health Action Plans
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to work with confidentiality, sensitivity and diplomacy
  • Physically fit, able to undertake practical tasks including assistance with personal care
  • Hold a current full driving license

We also welcome applications from individuals who are considering a change in career, as full training will be given along with support to achieve an NVQ Level 2 in Social Care. Based in Oakham at our Day Centre, you will be working within a supportive team environment allowing you to fulfil your potential. You will be building relationships with members of the community and providing them with support to enable them to maintain their independence.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS is paid for by us.
