Strategic Growth Officer - Development Management

Hello, is it you we’re looking for?

  • An enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive professional planner with experience of complex and large scale planning applications?
  • A team player with a ‘can – do’ approach who is committed to meeting challenging targets?
  • A member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RPTI)?
  • A leader?

Our friendly and supportive Strategic Growth Delivery Team is working to deliver the major development and new place-making identified within the Local Plan, whilst safeguarding the high quality environment the District enjoys.  

Under the guidance of the Strategic Growth Team Leader you will play a leading role in the delivery of the Plan including the delivery of two major mixed use Strategic Development Areas comprising housing, employment, supporting community facilities and green spaces.

We will support and enable you to use your considerable place-making experience to deliver exemplar standard development across the District and offer you plentiful and varied experience, dealing with some challenging, large scale and strategic planning applications.
