If accountancy makes you tick, and you’ve started your journey to becoming a qualified accountant within the public sector then we have an ideal position for you. We are offering an exciting opportunity to become a Trainee Accountant within the finance team which is a unique post supporting all areas of corporate finance activity.
Your responsibilities would vary throughout the financial year although will cover budget setting, monitoring and forecasting as well as preparation of year-end statutory accounts. Activity will be linked to S106 developer contributions, leasing, preparation of statutory accounts, capital finance, treasury management and areas of strategic finance.
We are looking for someone who has graduated from university or has completed their AAT studies, and who wants to be supported whilst they train to become a CCAB qualified accountant. Previous experience within the public sector would be an advantage, although not essential.
