This is your chance to find your own personal greatness in a role where you will be responsible for the management and delivery of a large number of projects on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council’s Housing Service. The Housing Property Client Team provides a wide range of services to our residents - including the delivery new homes and completion of building refurbishments in order to meet housing demand.
This role requires you to manage all aspects of the works – from inception to handover - including feasibility, design, preparation of planning applications, development of specifications, procurement, contract administration, financial monitoring, project planning, risk and issues management and stakeholder management.
You will be HND or degree qualified – alternatively, being able to demonstrate a number of years of relevant experience in an appropriate construction profession. You will be a highly organised and solution-focused with a history of leading on capital and revenue works - ideally in a social housing environment. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of housing, procurement, project management and budget management, have strong relationship management skills and demonstrate the ability to manage your own workload – to defined timescales – on a range of projects.
