Islington Council is looking to recruit a Cyber Security Engineer to join its Cyber Security team, based within Islington council's Digital Services department.

The new post would work with the Head of Cyber Security to ensure the governance of cyber security risk is being proactively managed within the department, the wider organization and our suppliers.

The key areas the role would be involved in are assisting with planning, implementation, performance and improvement of the Cyber Security framework. In tangible terms this would include updating policies, processes, reports, meetings, investigations, managing security incidents, and remedial actions, etc.

The post holder would collaborate with other colleagues across the Digital Service department to ensure that cyber security is moving in the right direction.
