An exciting opportunity has arisen with Lincolnshire County Council for two part-time (18hrs per week) Handypersons' at two of our Lincolnshire Residential Children's Homes, one at Gainsborough and one at Spalding. These are both 6 bedded homes that give the highest level of care for the Children and Young People of the county.

The Handyperson would be responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs and minor decoration within the building and curtilage. 

We are looking for a creative and innovative handy-person to join our highly motivated team in providing a safe, stimulating environment for children and young people.

To be considered for this role you will need to have practical DIY skills, and be a flexible worker.

The role of Handyperson is a critical role as the homes require on-going maintenance and repair. All applicants must be computer literate and it is desirable that you have the appropriate experience, skills and knowledge to undertake the duties and tasks as outlined within the attached job description. Candidates should also have sound knowledge and experience of Health and Safety at work.
