Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Hours: 36 hours

We are recruiting for an exciting role within the Housing Needs Team. As an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Nominations Officer you will be working to identify suitable tenants to move into private sector properties that Homes for Haringey have procured. You will also support customers who have found their own properties by negotiating with landlords and agents to ensure a positive outcome.

You will be responsible for arranging and attending viewings, liaising with landlords and letting agents to ensure that properties are let in an efficient manner. You will also be responsible for issuing statutory notification letters that are compliant with the Homelessness Reduction Act.

Please note the contract end date for this role will be 31/03/2021

About You

You may have experience of working in the public sector, or of working in a Lettings Agency environment however, you may have no direct experience of either but can bring an energy, flexibility and commitment to customer care that would make you ideal for this position.

You will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds so you will possess an enthusiasm and passion to support and assist individuals and help them into new tenancies.

You will be a strong team player, committed to learning, and be able to step up to the challenge of providing an effective, customer-driven service, experience of communicating and working directly with a range of customers must be demonstrated, as well as being skilled in administrative systems including Microsoft packages.
