Senior Practitioner - South Safeguarding Teams

As one of our Senior Practitioners you’ll find everything designed to help you do the job you’ve always been passionate about.  Because we’re focused on children’s safety and wellbeing and nothing else, you’ll be free to do the same.

You’ll play a lead role on our relationship-based, family-led practice model, running a complex caseload, and providing technical and professional expertise, mentoring and quality assurance to less experienced colleagues.

We’ll also look to you to front a joined up approach, encouraging robust partnerships with other service teams and outside agencies, plus the police, health, schools and voluntary organisations.

This is a key role in our organisation so naturally we’re looking for extensive experience of working with vulnerable children, families, statutory bodies and voluntary agencies.

You must hold a recognised social work qualification and registration with the Health Care Profession Council.

Your qualification will be complemented by your external personal skills – including communication, sound judgement, analytical thinking and teamwork.
