The Event Co-ordinator role will be working in conjunction with the Commercial Team Manager in the supervision of the Events Team within Facilities Management. The Co-ordinators main target is to ensure that booking requests are received, processed and allocated appropriately within set timescales in order to maintain the departments income target.Key Responsibilities
Providean effective and responsive front line service for visitors to the councilsbuildings for events ensuring that professional standards are maintained at alltimes.
Toensure that Risk assessments for events at sites are completed and reviewedaccordingly and that event staff are compliant with these and follow health and safety regulations. Monitorand develop the procedures and services provided, initiating office systemreviews where appropriate in collaboration with all other directorates, LocalGovernment Bodies and external sources to review initiating changes andimprovements as necessary.
To ensure all finance duties are carried out within the set timescales following financial procedures.Requirements
Detailed understanding of the principles ofFacilities management along with events.
Detailed understanding of Health & Safetylegislation and operation relevant to Events & FM.
Team supervisor skills along with co-ordination skills.
Experience in financial budget monitoring and income targets.
