To be responsible for the delivery of an effective and compliant technical support service through management of the in house support team across the CLM portfolio, working under the direction of the Head of Hard FM Services and working closely with the Council’s Capital Delivery & Asset Management teams.
This will be delivered by providing effective management of a support service to ensure that technical support is delivered to the team of Electrical, Mechanical engineers and Building surveyors in accordance with the operating policy and ensuring that a consistent standard of service is achieved. Key Responsibilities
Keys areas of responsibility to be accountable for planning the workload of the Technical Support Team, ensuring that sufficient resources are allocated to specific areas, enabling deadlines to be met and projects and work programmes to be delivered in a timely manner
To be responsible for monitoring and reporting on financial budgets allocated to the Head of Hard services and Head of Facilities Management on Project, reactive & PPM programmed works to the corporate portfolio, Town Hall, Schools & Education, Parks & Leisure and HRA Housing establishments. To oversee the ISO9001 and ISO44001 process within the Hard FM Team monitoring performance and managing compliance
To provide line management for a team of Technical Support staff and arranging cover for sickness and absence Requirements
Detailed understanding of the principles of Facilities management. Experience of producing financial budget reports and summaries.
