Job Description

As part of the Financial Management division, the Corporate Income team works across both Boroughs to ensure that all income is correctly processed, banked and accounted for. Over the last few months a number of tasks have been transferred back in-house and we are now looking for additional staff to undertake this work. We currently have a permanent vacancy within our Corporate Income team, based at Wandsworth.

The successful candidate will use the Council’s main financial systems as well as considerable use of Excel for data manipulation. Candidates should therefore have proven knowledge and experience of using Excel and other analytical skills, as well as a keen eye for numerical detail. You will be responsible for processing all types of income as well as for its control & reconciliation.

We are looking for well-organised, motivated and flexible individuals to join the already high performing teams who are key to ensuring accurate financial transactions for both Councils. Apart from having a ‘can do’ attitude to work, you will be working within a busy team, and will need to be organised and have excellent time management skills.

We offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments.

If you have any questions or would like to speak to someone about the role, please contact Edward Fisk, Corporate Income Manager on 020 8891 7266.

These include (delete as appropriate) Compressed hours, home working (dependent on service need), part-time working, annualised hours, term time only. and a generous holiday allowance of 31 days plus bank holidays.

In addition, we offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments.
