Site Maintenance Officer

Site Maintenance Officer (SMO) - Permanent – 37 - Grade: 5:  AAD5007 £19171 Per Annum – Darnhall Primary School

Headteacher: Mrs Sarah Tomlinson



Hours: 7.00am – 3:30pm (3:00pm finish on a Friday) term time (one hour lunch unpaid 1:15-2:15). Hours during school holidays flexible by agreement with Headteacher. All annual leave is school holiday time only.

Due to the promotion of the current post-holder, the governors of Darnhall Primary School are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, multi skilled, reliable and conscientious Site Maintenance Officer (SMO) to ensure the smooth running of our growing, friendly split-site community school.

The successful candidate will be practical with a critical eye for detail and be a reliable and trustworthy person. The SMO will take pride in looking after our school buildings and grounds and will ensure that it is a safe, clean, tidy and secure environment for children, staff, families and visitors at all times.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, experienced in a range of maintenance work and able to use their own initiative and being organised. Experience of working within a school in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.
