Seasonal post - 1st April to 30th September 2020

Sefton Council have a number of Temporary Ranger posts available within Green Sefton’s Land Management Team, to assist with increased workload during the busy summer season.

Green Sefton provides our communities with a clean, green Borough (including parks and greenspaces, nature reserves, trees and woodlands, play and recreational facilities, municipal golf courses and our coast, beaches and countryside, which include specially protected sites and landscapes) to the benefit of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.

Applicants will be expected to undertake cleansing and general maintenance duties across the Council’s Green Sefton facilities. The work involves working outdoors, lifting and carrying, dealing with the public, using tools and equipment and handling monies where appropriate. Applicants should ideally hold a full clean driving licence.

They will also be required to guide and advise the public and assist with the maintenance and presentation of sites using practical and communication skills. DBS certification may be required.
