A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to plan, deliver and evaluate stimulating and creative learning experiences within a new school. King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO) are seeking a class teacher who can inspire, challenge and motivate children and staff.
The successful candidate will be an organised and creative teacher with the skills to make learning both challenging and fun. You will be committed to achieving high standards and a team player with a sense of humour.
KAB opened in a superb building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students. In September 2019 a further 150 Year 7 students, 30 Year R children and 21 Year N children joined the academy. Also in September 2019, KAO, a brand new 1 FE primary school a mile away, opened with Year R and a mixed (for this academic year only) Year 1/2. KAB and KAO will continue to grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. Both academies will be run cohesively sharing the same leadership, staff, values, curriculum, opportunities and expectations of excellence.
The successful candidate should be an excellent classroom teacher who will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.
KAB and KAO are part of the King’s Group Academies MAT, led by a team of former and current Ofsted ‘outstanding’ head teachers and Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI). Please note link to King’s Group Academies Vision and Mission - https://kingsacademies.uk/about-us/vision-and-mission/

King’s Academy Binfield and King’s Academy Oakwood are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
