Assistant Development Officer - 21.6 hours Fixed-term – until 31st March 2021
The Active Sports Team are responsible for delivering a portfolio of numerous Health, Sport and Physical activity programmes working with a wide range of partners and contributing to key council priorities including Health & Wellbeing, Most Vulnerable and Community Resilience.
Active Sefton are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join their team.
The Assistant Development Officer will be responsible for assisting the development and delivery of a comprehensive programme of sport and physical activity programmes linked to the priorities of Sefton Council (through Active Sefton) and identified project partners. These will include delivering school sessions such as breakfast and after school clubs, school holiday programmes, as well as community sessions such as Couch to 5k and a range of activities for children and young people. The role will also involve monitoring and evaluating data through using Excel, and promoting our programmes through various forms of marketing.
