Hours 37 hours per week / 5 days per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks) / Permanent

John Whitgift Academy is looking to appoint a Bridge Manager to join our academy in March 2020.  The successful candidate will work as part of the Deep Support team to promote the learning and welfare of vulnerable students and those who experience barriers to learning.


John Whitgift Academy is the highest performing academy in North East Lincolnshire and is in the top 4% of most improved academies in the country.  Its student population is rapidly growing with numbers leaving in 2019 compared to those joining, increasing by 200%.  Behaviour is good with a relentless focus upon learning, aspiration and in establishing quality effective relationships between students, staff and the local community. Outcomes in 2018 were above national average in all main categories and the academy is very fortunate to have exceptional facilities, such as swimming pools, an engineering base and a 220 seat private cinema.
