Are you a great all rounder?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, friendly and reliable person to assist our busy administration teams at KAB and KAO with the smooth running of the offices as soon as possible.
You will need to have good all round admin experience, a good telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of children, parents, visitors and outside agencies. You will need good IT and interpersonal skills, be flexible and work well as part of a small team. You would be required to offer administration support, when required, at both sites.
Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, be able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO).
KAB opened in a superb building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students. In September 2019 a further 150 Year 7 students, 30 Year R students and 21 Year N students joined the academy. Also in September 2019, KAO, a brand new 1 FE primary school a mile away, opened with Year R and a mixed Year 1/2. KAB and KAO will continue to grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. Both academies are run cohesively sharing the same leadership values, staff, curriculum, opportunities and expectations of excellence.
The post is for 37 hours per week (term time only). Hours of work will be 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work additional days during the holidays may be required. KAB and KAO are part of the King’s Group Academies MAT led by a team of former and current Ofsted ‘outstanding’ head teachers and Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI).
