Room Leader

Brighter Futures for Children

The Lodge Day Nursery

Full Time - 37 hours per week

The Lodge Day Nursery and The Coley Lodge provide high quality, affordable and free childcare to local families. We ensure that the children are at the centre of everything we do and understand how important their early experiences are. Our settings are inclusive and all children benefit from personalised care and learning. The environment is set out to be inspiring and the atmosphere is positive and supportive.

At The Lodge Day Nursery we care for children aged 1 to 5 years, Monday to Friday all year. The nursery is set out over 3 bright and spacious rooms which are all connected to the garden space in the heart of Southcote.

The Coley Lodge is a 2-year-old provision where we provide care for toddlers, Monday to Friday, term time only. The nursery is based at St Mary’s and All Saints Primary School in Coley and is set out in a well-equipped space with direct access to the garden.

We are excited to open an additional room at our Lodge Day Nursery due to increased demand of spaces and we are currently looking for a Room Leader. You must have a genuine passion for your career choice and share our values. A good understanding of child development and a responsible attitude is essential. Previous experience of leading a team or additional responsibilities within a similar setting is preferable. Applicants must and have had a vast amount of experience of working with young children and hold a relevant level 3 qualification as a minimum. Successful applicants will be provided with opportunities to build on their existing experiences and to develop their skills with further training.

If you want to make a difference to children’s lives, working alongside an experienced and friendly team then this is the perfect opening for you!
