Required for September 2020, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented teacher of English to join our vibrant and successful department. Applications from experienced teachers and NQTs will be considered. This is a full time position and permanent.
Results in English are excellent at the end of each key stage. In 2019, 86% of students attained at least a grade 4 in both English and Mathematics, with 27% attaining at least a grade 7 in both English and Mathematics.
Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent and as such the provision for professional learning and development is something of which we are all very proud.
Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
If you have a very good knowledge and understanding of the subject and you are an excellent teacher looking to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment, we would welcome an application from you. Opportunities for personal development are excellent.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All staff employed in the school must be aware that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be undertaken.
If you are interested in learning more about the position, please contact the Headteacher via the school office, on 01344 421233 or by email, email@example.com . Details of the post are also available on the school website, www.ranelagh.bracknell-forest.sch.uk
Applications will be considered on receipt. Candidates who are unsuccessful for this position will be considered for the fixed-term role which is also being advertised.
