(Payroll Team Manager)
One year fixed term contract - maternity cover
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed person to manage NPW’s payroll service for up to a year. This will be an exciting role for anyone either in, or ready to move to, a team manager role. Experience of payroll for schools and the iTrent HR/Payroll database would be a distinct advantage.
This role is ideal if you have a real passion for efficient payroll and pensions administration. The successful applicant must have line management experience and be familiar with using computerised database systems and office technology.
Applicants must have payroll processing experience from initial payroll instructions to ensuring accurate pay to staff and third parties. This will entail working with schools to develop processes for correct payroll instructions and costing reports.
The ideal applicant will have significant experience of working to monthly payroll deadlines and resolving payroll and pensions queries. The ability to deliver learning events and guidance material for school based colleagues will be a distinct advantage.
