1 to 1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Level 2 -  1:1 SEN Support

25 Hours Monday to Friday (5 hours each day)

Scale: Grade D (SCP 5-6) £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata

We are seeking to appoint one (possibly two) suitably qualified, Teaching Assistants to join our team. The successful applicants will primarily support SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis. 

We are seeking to appoint team members who are able to shape learning experiences to ensure the children flourish and succeed.

We are looking for someone who is creative, resilient and hard working.

Someone who is patient and understanding.

Experience of supporting pupils with SEN is essential.

As an employee of the school you will have a responsibility for and must be committed to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring that they are protected from harm. 

Due to the nature of the work, thess posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidates must be able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure (via the Disclosure & Barring Service); DBS, in order to be appointed to the post.
