Adult Social Care has an exciting permanent, full time opportunity in the Information and Engagement Team to support the service's channel shift vision, digital communications strategy and improving the overall experience of our clients.
Based in Kingston and reporting to a Digital Information Officer, this role will support the day to day maintenance of our website Surrey Information Point, the Adult Social Care web pages on the county council website, our social media channels and key online resources.
This work forms a key element of the Surrey Information and Advice Strategy about care and support, ensuring residents can access universal information and find local support.
The successful post holder will have excellent IT skills, high levels of accuracy in data inputting, strong writing skills and use of grammar and a thorough understanding of new technologies and social media.
The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated and highly disciplined in their approach to their work which will include a range of administrative and repetitive tasks involving adding, editing, reviewing and monitoring information on websites and online forms, publishing them online, using reports to identify broken links or errors, reporting faults, managing a shared mailbox with enquiries about information or providers of information, helping with user testing, supporting e-brokerage systems support, adding news items and campaign banners to Surrey Information Point. They may be involved in new projects and training support for staff, care providers and partners also.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidates including understanding Google Analytics and SiteImprove that provides insight into how people use our online resources.

Please note that, at the point of advertising, the work base will be Kingston upon Thames up to Spring 2020. We are awaiting confirmation of a move date into Midas House in Woking. However the expectation will be to work flexibly from different locations.
