We are looking for an experienced and driven Category Manager to join our Capital Delivery Team. This role is critical to supporting our procurement needs and to the roll out of our new Professional Services Framework to our private and public sector partners. If you are interested in contributing to programmes that will make a significant difference to the South West region, driving commercial value and helping to share best practice this is the job for you.
The ideal candidate will have:
- significant experience of UK government procurement and construction projects
- demonstrable commercial awareness and leadership skills
- an understanding of working in project and political environments
- a forte for working in a collaborative way while simultaneously setting direction
- supply chain management, including identification of risks, dependencies and synergies
