You will be assisting with the estimation, calculation, setting, reporting and collection of service charges. You will be responsible to ensure timely and accurate charging of service charges across all tenure types. You will liaise with relevant operational services to ensure maximisation of service charge income, complying with current legislation.
You’ll work closely with partners to formalise service charge setting at the outset of new developments and ensure realistic charges are set. You will take the lead in providing comprehensive and accurate advice on all aspects of service charge calculation to Service Managers, housing managements and other staff to deliver an effective approach to service charges.
You are passionate about delivering excellent customer experience every time. You will be a stickler for making sure information is fit for purpose and easy to access, you will have excellent eye for detail and problem-solving skills. You will be able to maintain contacts and relationships with a diverse range of people.
You will have detailed understanding of leasehold property and service charges. You will have advanced Excel skills. You will be confident in calculating service charges. Experience of leasehold management accounts and working in property management would be a bonus but is not essential. The role is subject to a basic check.
