An exciting opportunity to join our brand new resources casework team, whose purpose is to support and enable teams across the Council to deliver quality services for customers by providing excellent support services covering Human Resources, Finance, Legal and ICT. The team will act as the first point of contact for advice and support to internal customers and will support and encourage internal self service for managers across the organisation. The post holder will respond to and seek to resolve HR, Legal, Finance and ICT support service requests using the systems, processes and workflows in place, for all council teams.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy and customer focus and will enable the highest possible standards of support and advice to resolve support service requests.
We are seeking to recruit 3 individuals on a permanent basis; 1 with some ICT experience, 1 with some HR experience and 1 with some Finance experience.
The successful candidates will have a good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including a pass at level 4 in English and Maths). For appointment at the higher caseworker roles candidates should have A level standard education or NVQ level 3 with relevant experience. A CIPD, ICT or a Finance qualification is desirable.
Successful candidates will be expected to work in an agile way and work on a rota basis to cover extended service desk hours.
A basic DBS check will be required for the successful candidate prior to appointment.
