We are looking to reduce the number of empty properties in the District and find more homes for people to live in. By working closely with the owners of empty homes you will encourage them to bring long term empty dwellings back into use and also further help us reduce levels of homelessness.
You will have a good understanding of housing issues, experience of inspecting properties and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience of working in a performance driven organisation and good levels of initiative are also essential to ensure that the goals of the project are delivered.
Experience of multi agency working and good IT skills are also essential.
The role is fixed term for a period of 12 months.
