Business Services is the first point of contact for internal customers across the Council, enabling customers to access the right service (including self-service) at the right time to the right standards.
With newly implemented processes, we provide case management services across the entire scope of the Business Services, managing and resolving the vast majority of cases. We currently have exciting opportunities for two new case owners, with a working knowledge of the MS Office suite of packages. The entry pay level will be dependent upon level of existing knowledge and skill.
These roles will have a finance focus, so a sound knowledge is essential, although support and mentoring will be available. At least one of the roles will involve capital finance, so experience of capital finance would be highly advantageous.
An excellent communicator, you should be customer focussed, able to maintain high levels of speed and accuracy whilst managing competing priorities. We are looking for people with highly developed customer service skills who are passionate about efficiency and delivery of Council services. The opportunities are open on both a full and part-time basis, so the hours are negotiable.
If this is you and you are interested in working in a busy environment where no 2 days are the same, knowing that what you do contributes to making a difference then we want to hear from you.
Wokingham Borough Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and requires all staff, other workers and volunteers to share this commitment.
