Part-Time Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small kitchen team at the Woodham and New Haw Social Centre, Addlestone.  We provide high quality day services and activities for the older residents of New Haw and surrounding areas.

The Centre offers a traditional home cooked meal as well as providing a tea bar with freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and drinks.  The key duties will be ensuring that kitchen and tea bar areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness as well as aiding both the Cook and Assistant Cook.

Although no experience is necessary, as we provide full training, we are looking for someone who is committed to providing a high-quality service and who enjoys working with people.  There is also a requirement for flexibility, as we would expect this person to assist in the covering sickness and holiday, at this or one of our other centres.

Although an enjoyable and rewarding role, kitchen work can be hard work and hot, so you must be physically able to work in a commercial kitchen environment.
