Accountant - Financial and Corporate

We are recruiting for this key role in our Finance team and are looking for motivated and ambitious finance professionals with relevant qualifications, skills and experience. This is an excellent opportunity, with great prospects for personal development and career progression as part of a multidisciplinary finance team.

Not worked for Local Government before?  We welcome applications from individuals working within other sectors with transferrable skills.  On the job training will be provided in respect of the workings of local government finance.


CCAB-qualified/part-qualified or AAT (level 4) qualified with experience of closure of accounts and Treasury Management reporting and dealing. Training support offered (CIPFA professional qualification). Opportunities to develop new skills and experience when contributing to the wider work of the Finance team.
