Group Accountant - Financial and Corporate

We are recruiting to this key role in our Finance team and are looking for a motivated and ambitious finance professionals with relevant qualifications, skills and experience. This is an excellent opportunity, with great prospects for personal development and career progression as part of a multidisciplinary finance team.

Not worked for Local Government before?  We welcome applications from individuals working within other sectors with transferrable skills.  On the job training will be provided in respect of the workings of local government finance.

CCAB-qualified/finalist with hands-on experience of closure of accounts. Reports to the Finance Manager for Financial & Corporate Accounting and supported by an Accountant. Also lead for Treasury Management and Collection Fund Accounting. Opportunities to develop new skills and experience when contributing to the wider work of the Finance team.
