Kidz Klub Playworkers - (Ref: KKPW)

Play Workers £9.19 per hour (for qualified staff) and minimum wage rates according to age (unqualified)

We are looking for enthusiastic, imaginative and practical people, to join our team in working with children during the school holidays at the Council’s Kidz Klub playscheme at the John Warner Sport Centre in Hoddesdon. Do you have an artistic flare or a passion for sport and would like the opportunity to work with children, then the Play Workers job is for you. Previous experience in working with children is required and we are especially seeking staff with a relevant qualification in Playwork/Childcare or equivalent (Level 2/Level 3).  

Casual/Sessional Staff and University Student (looking for summer work) - (Ref: CS)

Minimum wage rates according to age – up to £10.08 per hour depending on project

The Council offers a wide range of services and activities for children and young people. We are looking for staff to work with us to deliver a positive experience for our residents. Opportunities will include assistance on youth projects (youth clubs, sports projects, discos), support on town centre and park events and activities for children. You should be available to work during evenings, weekends and school holidays as projects develop.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in these posts.

This role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as it is working with children or vulnerable clients.
