Digital is a critical enabler for change in our age, and in recognition of this, Adur & Worthing Councils have also pioneered an award winning strategy for in-house digital product development using low code programming.
We have been highly successful in designing and building a wide range of end-to-end services on our platform, using a common data architecture.
We are now seeking a talented Developer to join our Digital team in Worthing. The team is responsible for the development, delivery and support of digital applications and services, and we are looking for an individual with appropriate skills, behaviours and competencies to join our digital support resource pool at a time of increasing focus around customer self-service and online service delivery.
This role will give the successful applicant an opportunity to work in the exciting, emerging sector of low code programming. You should have a background in business or data analysis with excellent IT skills, being able to develop complex spreadsheets and databases.
Working closely with the business and our customers, you will be creating end-to-end line of business applications with a focus on user experience.
Full training will be given to enable you to build applications on our low-code platform; Libery Create. Liberty Create is a platform used to create end-to-end applications without the need for coding experience. Using Drag and Drop, then configure, Liberty Create can be used to quickly build applications incorporating data management, customer and back office interfaces, reporting and automation.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a systematic and logical approach to problem solving, and have good attention to detail. Experience of managing projects, experience of business process mapping, customer journey mapping and qualitative research methods is desirable, as is experience Agile working practices.
