Newham's Works commissioning team are responsible for managing the physical condition of the councils housing stock. We are looking for a dedicated and forward thinking Gas Inspector to work with the Mechanical & Electrical Manager in their compliance and gas safety team in auditing and delivering a service to our housing stock.

This is an exciting role requiring a committed inspector who is always looking to help improve the service and to provide support and advise to others within the
Works commissioning team. Ensuring they deliver an efficient service to our residents and to ensure the council is adequately carrying out its statutory duties and minimising the authorities risk.

We are looking for someone with a detailed knowledge of the gas regulations, experienced with court procedures and a willingness to be a warrant officer for the council and attend force entries following court action, with a proven track record of success in working highly regulated environment.
