About the role

We support colleagues working in social care teams in both Adults and Children's and Education teams

Would you like to be part of a team supporting front line staff in their essential work and helping them spend more time with their clients?

The Social Care & Education Helpdesk urgently needs a Applications Support Specialist to deal with system requests for Capita One, LAS, LCS, EHM, Controcc and Wisdom.

This vacancy is primarily a customer service rather than technical role but obviously the more you know about the above systems the better. As important as system knowledge, is the desire to constantly learn new skills and being tenacious. There is also a requirement for excellent communications skills, an attention to detail and the ability to document and share knowledge.

We can give you all the training and support needed to do this job and have a good record of developing staff into more senior roles. The Social Care and Education Helpdesk is proud of the excellent customer service it provides but is committed to a philosophy of continuous improvement and sharing knowledge and skills.
