Senior Health & Safety Advisor (Schools)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety professional to join our Health and Safety Team.

You will be working as a key member of our Health and Safety Team providing professional and efficient health and safety support services covering areas of health and safety management including policy development, risk assessment, inspections/audits, investigations, recording and reporting of accidents and dangerous occurrences and development and delivery of training to schools staff and Governors.

You will be expected to spend much of your time with schools and you will have autonomy to manage your own workload to meet deadlines and deliver the service level agreement to schools.

You will also need to work effectively with colleagues in other service areas and will need to have strong customer care skills and the ability to work with Head Teachers and Governors to help them provide a safe and healthy working environment for staff and pupils.

We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised above. We may however consider offering less hours than advertised and are open to consider flexible working opportunities including but not limited to: term time working, part time or compressed hours for this position, providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager. 

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
