Become a temporary care or support worker for Nottinghamshire County Council

Could you be a valued member of a team of relief care workers providing vital social care to older and disabled people across Nottinghamshire during the coronavirus crisis?

We are looking for people who can work flexibly 24/7 at locations around the county.

This could involve a range of activities including; calling people on the phone, visiting vulnerable people in their homes, providing personal care or ensuring that they are safe and well and have access to food and medication or working in one of our residential care services, providing care and support to people who are unable to remain at home.

No previous experience is needed, and training will be provided.

In return, Nottinghamshire County Council offers fair and competitive rates of pay, a good annual leave allowance and excellent training. If successful, you will initially be recruited as a relief worker, but could potentially progress to a permanent role and would receive support with your development and career progression.

As part of the recruitment process you will need to provide two suitable referees for employment references and undertake a DBS check.

Rates of pay start at £9.18 - £9.55 plus enhancements, but you could be earning more than this depending on your experience and the type of role you undertake.
