Senior Project Manager

Salary £42,432 - £45,288 (including London weighting)

(Starting salary will be based on experience within the salary scale range).

We are proud to be a housing association rooted in our community in North and East London managing and developing quality affordable homes for people.  We want to be viewed as a brilliant housing association by our residents, stakeholders and our staff providing good quality new homes that address the housing demand in London.

Our priorities are safety and satisfaction with our service. We have plans for a development programme of new homes building on our already successful track record of development, setting residents off on a secure footing & helping create the conditions for people to flourish in their homes.

Working as part of the Programme Delivery team, you will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of new build schemes at various stages of the project cycle. You will also co-ordinate project teams of consultants, developers, contractors and others and will liaise as necessary with the GLA and Local Authorities as well as other relevant bodies to ensure that schemes are developed and completed in accordance with relevant funding and procedural requirements.

You will have excellent understanding of the development process, good working knowledge of JCT Design and Build contracts as well as development agreements and experience of project-managing schemes ideally within a Housing Association development setting. Strong numeracy, communication, liaison and negotiation skills are essential; underpinned with a strong customer-focussed approach. Detailed and working knowledge of GLA or Homes England grant funding procedures would be desirable.
