Group Accountant (Ref: 1N177P)
Salary up to £32,000 p.a. (salary dependent on skills and experience)

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated finance professional to join our Finance Team. You will be responsible for providing financial support to a range of service areas, this will include assisting Service Heads to compile and monitor their budgets, offering financial advice and assisting in the preparation of the annual Statement of Accounts by providing good quality working papers.
Ideally being AAT qualified or part qualified, with knowledge of public sector finance you will be highly numerate with good analytical and communication skills. You must be able to produce accurate work, have a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and work well as part of a team; you will play a key role in helping the finance team to meet its deadlines and performance targets.
The ability to converse at ease with senior officers and elected members, and to provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
