Systems Support Officer (Maternity Cover)

Supporting users of our Social Care, Youth Offending and Education case management systems is different to a typical IT helpdesk position. As the first point of contact for system users, you will need to understand the query, investigate the problem and identify the solution, and then explain this back to the system user.
With support from the wider team, you will develop knowledge of business processes and practice. This, alongside your knowledge of the case management system, will enable you to guide users through the system to reflect the client’s involvement with the service. Your training skills will be in use every day in every communication with users. System users will gain trust and confidence in your expertise as you develop strong working relationships.
You will be able to engage groups of new starters in system training, and support the roll out of system upgrades, changes and developments. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be evident in the guidance documentation you develop and maintain.
The person for this role will be:

- Naturally curious, with a willingness to investigate issues and problem-solve
- A great communicator
- Motivated to learn with a proactive approach
- Determined to see things through to resolution
- A team player
If you are interested, submit the application form explaining why you’d be the perfect fit for the team.
