Salary:  £29,122
Location: London

The Electoral Commission is the independent body that regulates party and election finance, sets standards for well-run elections and encourages people to register to vote.

Job Description

With a wide variety of tasks and a genuine opportunity to develop, particularly in the fields of project and performance management, this is a great time to join the Planning, Performance and Governance Team at the Commission.

We have recently implemented new systems and processes for project and performance reporting and the successful applicant will be working with the wider team to help with this. The role will provide support internally to the PMO Team and our Project Managers and will involve helping to deliver project management training to improve skills across the organisation.

Role Requirements

Ideally the candidate will have a good academic record, some experience in a project or performance environment and should either have or be willing to work towards a qualification in this area.

They should be able to evidence their ability to make things happen and to take responsibility when they are given the opportunity. The role requires proficient IT skills – proven experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and some experience of MS Project would be helpful but training will be given. Ultimately being quick to learn, proactive and with a desire to add value are the key requirements of the role.
