Reporting to the Team Leader for Responsive Repairs, you will be part of a small team of maintenance Surveyors assisting in the developing innovations in the delivery of responsive repairs and voids to the council’s c10,000 stock. 

Working closely with our long-term partnering contractors - Mears - to maximise customer satisfaction and achieve value for money. Working with colleagues and contractors to ensure delivery of a first class responsive repairs service and guarantee all voids meet the quality standards required. You will need to have good working knowledge of building construction, The Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation. You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be comfortable in conversing with a range of stakeholders.
